I am not sure if I baked/caramelized the sugar long enough in the oven though. Is the sugar supposed to change color (like to a caramel color) and is it supposed to be just a blob of sugar in the center of the pan or do I need to spread it out a bit? Thanks! He wanted chocolate chip cookies, I wanted to find a recipe with a little different flavor. These are great! The carmelized sugar though...that was a PITA. But worth the tastiness.
