Red all the way side to side, top to bottom – they really do taste better don’t they. For a number of years every summer near our cabin in the Michigan woods a farmer would meet me along the road after my runs and tell me “I just picked strawberries (or blueberries or raspberries) but I think if you look you’ll find enough for you and the folks at home.” I know what heaven tastes like!

I agree, strawberries should always be served very simply, they’re perfect just as is with very little fuss! Yum!
