The cookies went from being too doughy to take out of the oven, to burned, there was no in between-"perfect" stage. They were hard as rocks which doesn't qualify them to be "meltaways". I pride myself in my baking and could not figure out what went wrong or what to fix. So easy it was ridiculous. And very yummy. I added peppermint extract instead of vanilla and also added red sanding sugar to the powdered sugar when I coated them.
