Because you've been getting some negative comments lately (about what, I can't possibly imagine!), I thought I should de-lurk and post something positive.

My mom and I made these bars for our family potluck dinner over Christmas. It was so popular I printed copies for several family members who just "couldn't go home without it!" It is a new staple in our holiday diet, along with your Orange-Cranberry Pound Cake. Yum yum yum. Thanks so much.

Happy New Year!

[...] I’m off to the in-law’s tonight and will be taking along a plethora of supplies. An almost 14lb turkey for frying, ingredients for a mainstream green bean casserole - as much as it’s generic, I still love it - homemade cranberry sauce - 2 different kinds, one made on the stove top and one roasted in the oven with orange zest & juice - totally awesome btw - and gingerbread bars with cream cheese frosting. And that’s just the food. We’ll be staying overnight (they only live an hour away) and probably letting A (my 15 month old) stay over the weekend. So, I have to pack up clothes and diapers and all that other fun stuff. Woowee! [...]
