If you want but you will not get the same creamy consistency. A water bath is not to prevent cracks in a cheesecake, it’s purpose if for a texture that the cheesecake produces.

Do you think I can skip the water bath? The topping will cover any cracks, right? Thanks… I just got my mini-cheesecake pan!!!
