I made these last night for my pet sitter and my family. Instead of dipping the shortbread, I took the quick way out and just drizzled them with the melted chocolate and then sprinkled the crushed peppermint over all. They are delicious, and very Christmasy! I love how the addition of the peppermint cuts through the richness of the buttery dough! Another winner!
