It seems to really only be cool around these parts but since it is cool that means it’s cider, hot tea, and hot chocolate time. And one thing I just love to have with my cocoa is frozen whipped cream. I make it in all sorts of flavors but this weeks was made with crushed Oreo’s on top. Yeah, that’s yummy I know. 
Oreo Frozen Whipped Cream Circles
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup Oreo, crushed
Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a stand mixer with the whisk attachment, whip the cream until soft peaks start to form.
Add the sugar and beat until whipped cream is stiff.
Fill into a piping bag and pipe whipped cream circles onto the parchment paper. Make them the size just shy the size of your favorite cocoa mug.
Sprinkle with Oreo pieces.
Freeze for about 3 hours. Then remove and you can store in a freezer safe air tight container.

OK, I am off to to turn the one AC unit we have down to the lowest setting, because that’s the only way it would get that cold here. Hot chocolate here I come.
What a great idea! I always have the whip cream go south before I finish it, so this would be a good way to use it all up. It’s getting nippy at night and we actually had some frost on the windows in the mornings this week. I love a day that is beautiful and sunny and still sitting around 68º. Must admit though, I’m so ready for some rain.

Love your blog and haven’t been by in a while. I just noticed your frozen whipped cream and had to laugh it sounds wonderful. BUT..my thing with HC is too only half whip the cream so it’s still pretty pourable and then pour it over the back of a spoon. It will float atop the Choc. First you get the cold cream followed by luscious hot choc next. Rereading this I sound like a twit but seriously try it!! It’s amazing. Maybe add some caramel or choc shaving. Your a sweet genius and just wanted to share with you as a kindred spirit.
