I’d love to be coming on here and telling you I have an amazing recipe for you…but that is not the case. Though this week there will be I promise! My life the last two weeks has been extra hectic. I had a bunch of assignment due for my Tablespoon gig as well a miscommunication on my part somehow had me and MDP score keeping more than our usual games. The good news is that things are slowing down and I found some fun food finds. Like these Jungle Animal Cookies which are basically Circus Animal Cookies but in green and white. But rest assured you still can't figure out what animal you are eating...just sprinkled blobs. But sprinkled blobs that I love to eat! Cinnamon Roll Captain Crunch. Haven't tried it yet but can't wait. I love Captain Crunch and I love cinnamon rolls. Fingers crossed. Awww...MDP and I making the best out of score keeping. We score keep to pay for our hockey. Harry and David Mother’s Day Giveaway….

Mother’s Day will soon be upon us. The day that we celebrate the woman that gave birth to us. I of course celebrate that every day. :) But in all seriousness I do try and let my mom know how wonderful she is. It’s pretty hard to find someone that doesn’t like my mom and if they don’t like her it’s probably because they are a rotten person (for reals) and she probably chose not to deal with their bull crap! She’s kind, funny (well she doesn’t do it on purpose but we laugh at her a lot :) ), she’s charitable ALWAYS doing something for her community center or church. She’s one heck of an entertainer always having her friends over, especially those who don’t have family around. She’s a fundraising fool for all her causes, especially Relay for Life. 1. Stayed up until 1 something in the morning Saturday night doing my taxes. I think I invented new swear words. The IRS says food bloggers are a business yet sadly I don’t get any of the benefits of having a home office as it gets used for other things like paying my bills on line. So I get to owe them money. Sigh. 2. Jury duty. Got out of it! Yay! Well didn’t get out of it they just never got to my group number and I was therefore released as of this afternoon! 3. After nine seasons of going to the championship and losing to the same team time in and time out my hockey team finally won in sudden death shoot out. Normally I don’t actually care about winning but darn that felt good. Especially because those guys HATE to lose. 4. People keep asking how the wedding planning is coming along. Peabody and the Giant Peanut Butter Cup…

Ever have so much to do that you choose to accomplish nothing? This seems to be me as of late. Only problem is it doesn’t really work. :) Procrastination is only your friend during the procrastination part…it’s the part that comes after that’s not so great. I’m procrastinating now by putting this post up. :P When we were in Idaho there was a chocolate shop that we stopped into to get some huckleberry ice cream from. They had giant peanut butter cups. I looked at them and thought, I could do that. They seemed to be made in mini tart pans. I thought I have those. What you can do and what you should do of course are two different things. :) Making giant peanut butter cups is actually pretty easy especially because I didn’t temper the chocolate because well, I was eating/using them right away.
