This will be a quickie as I had a little medical procedure done today and am heavily medicated. So to avoid any embarrassment I wont go on any rants. :) How giant is this leaf? Look at it in comparison to my hand. FYI to anyone who I am ever mad at and decides that they want to apologize with a pizza card...I will just be more mad at you. That is all. Best time of year for tea lovers. So I heard about these from a reader and could not find them anywhere. I had to break down and buy them from Amazon.com because I had to have them! I decided to do a pudding cookie with the candy cane flavor since I had some candy cane kisses sitting around. Coming up…

So I’m a little in denial about how quickly the holidays are coming upon us. Less than two weeks and Thanksgiving will be happening and then the blur begins. I’m still trying to figure out where the tree is going to go in the house. And then there is the whole looming idea of dragging all the holiday stuff out. Don’t get me wrong I love it but the unpacking and packing up of it all is no fun. The other thing I have to start thinking about is holiday baking. While most people do it in December, us food bloggers have to pretty much be doing it now…so that you all have ideas for when you want to bake. Heck when I used to do magazine work I would have to have my holiday stuff done in August! I braved Wal-Mart the other day…and yes brave is the correct word. I know some people love that store…I am not one of those people (like the prices the people scare the crap out of me). I went in search of the Gingerbread Oreo and Peppermint Marshmallows. 1000 and counting….

I randomly noticed that this was my 1000th post. Some bloggers reach that much quicker than me…some never do (so sad that many of my favorite old blogs are long gone). It took me 7 years and 6 months to get to this point. Had I known that I had hit this milestone I might have done something more exciting but alas I did not. I did use up my Kit Kat’s though. :) If you want to be nice and you haven't feel free to like my Facebook page in honor of my 1000th post! As October comes round to an end lets do some updates… More proof I am not a best blog and a print button is why. I posted this email on FB but since FB hardly shows stories anymore I’ll post it here. In this one’s defense it is not 14 paragraphs and is not rude. “Hello.... I stumbled upon your blog thru a separate site and I'm very happy I found it! Lots of different recipes I can't wait to try....I did notice that upon printing one recipe the site did display a 'print' option which was (thankfully) a clean page.... But as I started to print a few others I've noticed there isn't the same option.....??..... I'm hoping that you can tweak your site so that your fans are able to easily print a clean (recipe only) copy of the recipes we're looking forward to trying on our own!
