Hi! I was thinking about making the peanut butter cup brownie bottom cheesecake, from a entry in your cheesecake contest. The recipe mentions there was extra batter, so I was thinking about making a regular size and two minis. I would like to ship a mini to my parents (from TX to GA) and was hoping you could give some tips on how to ship a cheesecake.
I work in a lab, so I have access to freezer packs, dry ice, and styrofoam coolers. Do you think 2 day shipping would be okay? The dry ice would last about 24-48 hours, depending on how much I used, but I’m not sure if freezing cheesecake makes it fall apart.
I found your site a few months ago and have been enjoying and learning ever since. I have a dilemma and I know you are the one to help me.
I bought this amazing Bailey’s Irish Cream Caramel Sauce for my husband at an arts and crafts fair this past summer. He loves Bailey’s, endlessly. It was a pretty small jar and, well, now it’s gone. I want to try to make this wonderful sauce for him and have tried an internet search which turned up nothing comparable.
The ingredients are listed as follows:
Sugar,Cream,Corn syrup,Bailey’s Irish Cream, Starch.
We tried to make one together based on a recipe I found online but it turned out horribly.
I said to my husband, “if anyone can help us, it’s Peabody”.
Looking forward to your response and any help you can provide.
Hi Peabody
Ever since I read your post about your wedding cake, I have been trying to find a pair of the Fisher Price Litte People Bride and Groom-but cant locate them anywhere! Have trolled Ebay endlessly over the last few months, but no luck.
Where did you get yours from? I have a wedding looming in October and would love to use them as cake toppers.
Hi Peabody, would you be willing to post a review for The Sweet Melissa Baking Book on Amazon? Even if you want to just cut and paste part of your blog review, that would be great. I am getting such wonderful feedback, but for some reason, none of it is getting to the Amazon page. Can you help?
I just spent the better part of 2 hours looking through your blog, it was the best 2 hours i’ve spent in a long time! Your blog is a masterpiece of wonderful recipes. Thank you for the time you’ve spent on it, it’s such an encouragment! Bunny

Thanks for all your help (and that cheesecake looks fabulous).
