I’m being a cheater today. Or at least I thought I was until I realized…hey I created Way Back Wednesdays a while ago! Yay, I am only half cheating. :) And is it really cheating when I am on crutches and can’t stand up to bake? I think not. But truthfully I just couldn’t stand not to blog and well that doesn’t happen all that much lately. I guess that’s the sign of a good conference and the sign of getting to meet a lot of wonderful people over the weekend. People who gathered to talk about food, eat food, and do all things food with others that loved it. It reminded me why I blog in the first place. I love food. I love sharing my love of food. I love talking to others about food. And I love knowing I’m not alone in my love of food! I chose this cheesecake because number one I’ve been putting together an all things Fall pin board on Pinterest that highlights some of my favorite Fall recipes from this blog. Donger need food… Way back Wednesday…

This was not only a good cake but a good post so we will revisit both. Sixteen Candles is one of the best movies ever. Oh the movie that gave every teenage girl hope. Hope that the hottest guy in school would leave his well endowed, hot girlfriend for geeky, no body you. Did I mention he is not only hot, but rich and drives a Porsche? Oh yes, this was the modern day Cinderella story that every female teeny bop was waiting to happen. Unless of course, you were the well endowed, hot chic at school...then it was already happening to you (bitch). That being said, I would never give my undies to a geek. Or anyone for that matter. Now perhaps back then, when my undies were bought by my mother and were ugly (probably the 20 pack from Costco) I might not have cared as much. But gosh darn it, now a days, good looking undies just cost too much to be giving away. Or ripped off for that matter. What makes a person healthy? According to Rush Limbaugh apparently it’s being a supermodel. Now I actually call Crazy Cocker Spaniel a supermodel because she is blond, not real bright, tall for her breed, and throws up her food often.  If she was a chain smoker who snorted a little coke I could probably get her an agent. So I find it interesting that Rush uses supermodels as the model for a healthy woman. Apparently who isn’t a healthy woman and who isn’t practicing what she preaches is Michelle Obama. Now I tend to steer clear of politics on here and this isn’t really a political thing, but I don’t see how someone with Michelle Obama’s guns (arms for those not in the know…aka my mom) can’t be healthy.? You don’t get those sitting around doing nothing. On one hand, Limbaugh said, she is encouraging children to get healthy and eat “roots, berries, and tree bark” but was recently seen enjoying a high-calorie meal of fatty ribs.
