“Unless life hands you water and sugar your lemonade is going to suck” I saw this today on Pinterest (btw several people asked to follow me…it’s just my name so feel free to look it up, it’s a public site) and it made me laugh. Because if you are already a cranky pain in the butt and someone hands you lemons, you aren’t going to make lemonade…you will probably just chuck the lemons at people…which sometimes, let’s be honest sounds better than making lemonade. :P I didn’t get lemons but I got a large box of Satusumas and needed to do something with them. I love orange and chocolate together. I also love Ina Garten’s lemon yogurt cake. I thought why not change it to orange and add some chocolate. Changed the recipe a little but it’s all good. No really, it’s good. Be careful what you wish for…
Today instead of honoring Veteran’s (or Remembrance) Day, most people were preoccupied with what they were going to wish for at 11-11-11-11:11. Ah, the priorities of people. Nonetheless you could have easily honored Veteran’s as well as wished yourself a little wish at 11:11am this morning, so let’s hope people went that route. It makes me wonder what people wished for. My dog probably wished for bacon or pizza crust. Tons of teenagers (or grown 40-something women) probably wish that Twilight was real and that Edward married them. You might laugh at that but you would be surprised at the volume of email I receive because I live in Washington State asking me to get people authentic Twilight stuff from Forks, WA. Change please…
I got a bill for $0.34 from my doctor. Then I got a second notice. Then a third. I just kept waiting for there to be a larger bill but it never came. So I got an evil final notice from them and interest making it almost a dollar. Which I then paid in all in pennies to them through the mail…five cents at a time. I’m fun when messed with. :P I am still crazy busy so this is another quickie post. These are muffins, but not really. More like cupcakes without frosting.
