Harry and David Mother’s Day Giveaway….

Mother’s Day will soon be upon us. The day that we celebrate the woman that gave birth to us. I of course celebrate that every day. :) But in all seriousness I do try and let my mom know how wonderful she is. It’s pretty hard to find someone that doesn’t like my mom and if they don’t like her it’s probably because they are a rotten person (for reals) and she probably chose not to deal with their bull crap! She’s kind, funny (well she doesn’t do it on purpose but we laugh at her a lot :) ), she’s charitable ALWAYS doing something for her community center or church. She’s one heck of an entertainer always having her friends over, especially those who don’t have family around. She’s a fundraising fool for all her causes, especially Relay for Life. Harry and David Easter Gift Basket Giveaway….

So Hippity-Hoppity Easter is on its way…end of this month in fact! I love Easter for the décor and of course the candy. Cute bunny and chicks everywhere. And it’s the holiday that fuels my addiction to jelly beans so there is that. So when Harry and David asked if I wanted to give away an Easter gift basket I jumped at the chance. I loved Easter baskets as a kid (okay who am I kidding…as an adult). I immediately went and looked and was torn between two baskets but ultimately chose The Big Hopper Easter Basket as that came with candy corn and gummies and the bunny it came in was just too darn cute. It comes with: 2 Royal Riviera Pears Milk Chocolate Moose Munch Popcorn (6 oz.) Gummi Flowers (4 oz.) Candy Corn (6 oz.) Chocolate Eggs (4 oz.) Yellow Chick Shortbread Cookie (0.8 oz.) First off it’s National Margarita Day! Second off to the 41 people who sent me hate mail yesterday you need this drink more than me. Sorry to those that I spoiled PART ONE of the finales to Top Chef Seattle. Bravo pays me to discuss the show. I have to do it in a certain amount of time. I’m sorry you didn’t get to watch it on your DVR yet (remember to good old days when you missed a show and just missed it). I found out about who was out before I watched it on FB. Oh well. I didn’t go off on the person. I still watched the episode to see WHY people were in or out. But I certainly did enjoy “I hope something really important in your life gets fucked up” and “thanks for ruining my weekend” or how about “ hey dumb bitch, next time put spoiler on your site”. So I’m just going to go there and say its reality TV and if you are that attached to it then you might want to rethink your priorities in life. Cougar town….

My hand has now seen three different people and they all now tell me the same thing…nothing they can do. That surgery will not help and I just get to deal with the fact that my hand will be numb/in pain and be thankful that it’s usually only a few hours a day and not 24/7. Well awesome. Not. It’s a sore subject right now (no pun intended). In awesome news while I was on vacation I found out that I won Sprinkle Bakes (btw do you own her cookbook yet? SprinkleBakes: Dessert Recipes to Inspire Your Inner Artist You should...it's $11 on Amazon...how can you not pull the trigger on that!) hosted a giveaway that I could really get behind. I love all things Kate Spade and this had sprinkles on it as well. Squeal. And then I won!!! Double squeal.
