Harry and David Mother’s Day Giveaway….

Mother’s Day will soon be upon us. The day that we celebrate the woman that gave birth to us. I of course celebrate that every day. :) But in all seriousness I do try and let my mom know how wonderful she is. It’s pretty hard to find someone that doesn’t like my mom and if they don’t like her it’s probably because they are a rotten person (for reals) and she probably chose not to deal with their bull crap! She’s kind, funny (well she doesn’t do it on purpose but we laugh at her a lot :) ), she’s charitable ALWAYS doing something for her community center or church. She’s one heck of an entertainer always having her friends over, especially those who don’t have family around. She’s a fundraising fool for all her causes, especially Relay for Life. Harry and David Easter Gift Basket Giveaway….

So Hippity-Hoppity Easter is on its way…end of this month in fact! I love Easter for the décor and of course the candy. Cute bunny and chicks everywhere. And it’s the holiday that fuels my addiction to jelly beans so there is that. So when Harry and David asked if I wanted to give away an Easter gift basket I jumped at the chance. I loved Easter baskets as a kid (okay who am I kidding…as an adult). I immediately went and looked and was torn between two baskets but ultimately chose The Big Hopper Easter Basket as that came with candy corn and gummies and the bunny it came in was just too darn cute. It comes with: 2 Royal Riviera Pears Milk Chocolate Moose Munch Popcorn (6 oz.) Gummi Flowers (4 oz.) Candy Corn (6 oz.) Chocolate Eggs (4 oz.) Yellow Chick Shortbread Cookie (0.8 oz.) My Harry and David trip and what I did with all my pears…

When I was engaged I got a Tiffany diamond. I’m not saying that to brag or anything like that. We looked other places before going to Tiffany’s and right away we knew this was where we were going to get my ring. Not only for the diamond but for the above and beyond service we received. That I still get to this day from them. When I was younger each year for Christmas my aunt would send us a Harry and David Fruit of the Month basket. Throughout the year we would get sent a different fruit each month, and I would always look forward to it. One time when our oranges came and one of them got a little smashed in the shipping. My mom called to let them know. Not to ask for new ones, but to let them know that was happening. Within a few days, there were new oranges on our doorstep.
