First off, if you didn’t read my last post (I know the cookies were not that exciting looking) please go and at least read the last paragraph. It’s important to me. Thank you. And now on to the regularly scheduled post: There have been a slew of troll action on the food blogs as of late. I personally just delete it or make fun of them on here but one of them went after a kid blogger which is messed up. If they get out of control I block their IP address. This last week a troll had a campaign to email me repeatedly letting me know that how nice it was that I just sit around in my sweats all day eating chocolate and getting drunk. And one of the times something about sitting around doing my nails. So let’s address this shall we: 1. If I’m going to be sitting around all day eating something it’s not going to be chocolate. Play Up Dessert with Oreo…

If you look almost anywhere on my site you will see my love of Oreo’s in all forms. So when Kitchen PLAY asked if I wanted to make a Halloween recipe using Oreo’s it was pretty much a no-brainer. I throw Oreo’s in just about everything from Rice Krispie Treats to ice cream to brownie bars to cheesecake. And my favorite way to make cheesecake…mini with an Oreo cookie as the crust. I had wanted to make something using the Halloween Oreo’s (not to be confused with the Candy Corn Oreo’s that I loved) but couldn’t find them. So I went with a mix of Golden (my favorite) and classic Oreo. And to make things a little more festive I made my Oreo’s into skeleton heads. C is for Cookie…

I avoid politics like the plague on here, with the exception of the time when Palin kept visiting hockey teams and accidently injuring players (which I didn’t complain about her politics I complained that she was injuring players). And I’m not one to get into them here today. I am a firm believer that as long as you stick to your convictions and you are respectful of those who do not believe in the same thing as you then you are alright in my book. I did not watch the debate. It’s not that I don’t care what they have to say, it’s because I know it’s all a dog and pony show where both sides make a lot of promises that will never come to fruition. I’m not a registered Democrat or Republican for that matter (in my state you don’t have to designate) but when I did have to designate I chose the Whig party…just cause.
