First off if you are not loving this Ben and Jerry’s week I’m not sure we can be friends. :) Second if you haven’t seen what the others are doing you are missing out big time. I’m so making Shelly’s What a Cluster Bars for the hockey team and Kristan’s Cherry Garcia Cake is a thing of beauty (I almost wouldn’t want to cut into it…almost). So when I got to pick my flavors I knew Phish Food obviously but didn’t know what I would do with that (clearly I figured that out) but my other flavor of Everything But The… I knew right away I wanted to do a layer cake. Here’s my random thoughts on today’s concoction: 1. I always like the idea of a layer cake until I am actually having to make the layer cake. I only remember this while in the middle of making the cake. I think this is what my friends are talking about when they see a baby and want one. :) 2. Peabody and the Giant Peanut Butter Cup…

Ever have so much to do that you choose to accomplish nothing? This seems to be me as of late. Only problem is it doesn’t really work. :) Procrastination is only your friend during the procrastination part…it’s the part that comes after that’s not so great. I’m procrastinating now by putting this post up. :P When we were in Idaho there was a chocolate shop that we stopped into to get some huckleberry ice cream from. They had giant peanut butter cups. I looked at them and thought, I could do that. They seemed to be made in mini tart pans. I thought I have those. What you can do and what you should do of course are two different things. :) Making giant peanut butter cups is actually pretty easy especially because I didn’t temper the chocolate because well, I was eating/using them right away. First a disclaimer: You are going to hate me and love me at the same time for giving you this recipe. That is all. Moving on. As previously discussed there has been quite a few new readers to my site and with that comes a ton of questions so I’m going to do a quick little about me/this blog to catch people up to speed and if you are a long time reader consider it your refresher course and you might learn something new. :D Peabody: Yep that is my first name. Good thing is when someone shouts it out in a crowd I’m pretty much guaranteed they are calling for me. Which is cool…unless it’s a gunman. MDP: My fiancé name on this blog. I am the only one who gets a name on this blog. Stands for My Defensive Partner because we play ice hockey together as defensive partners. Cup check…

Here's the Tuesday Ten: 1. For the last month I have made my bed every day. I know people do this every day. I do not. I usually just throw the covers kind of over the pillows. But I have been doing the full bed…with pillow shams and all. Sadly this makes me feel more like a grown up. It’s not hard to do and yet I never used to do it. :) Small steps. 2. I made this mistake of asking a brand if they would like to work with me. They wrote back "You are not a significant enough food blogger"…I’m considering getting that on my tombstone right under owner of a not best blog. But seriously a no thank you probably would have been the better result. I am just going to assume that the person who wrote it did so while on the phone with the IRS and on hold for 2 hours, on a bad hair day, while possibly being mauled by a Honey Badger and therefore was not in a good mood. 3.
